SC EP:1203 A Face In My Window

Tonight, we’re joined by Sherrie and Conner, two guests with incredible stories to share. When Sherrie was just a little girl growing up in rural Georgia, she came face-to-face with something she’ll never forget.

a mysterious creature that appeared at her window, tapped on the glass, and motioned for her to come outside. And just last week, Conner had his own chilling encounter near Mt. Whitney in California. He’s here tonight, still searching for answers about what really happened.”

Tapping on a child’s window and motioning for them to come outside is not in anyway animalistic. In fact, that is human or intelligent specie behavior. I take the behavior to be malevolent and up to nothing good.

I’d also be interested as to why her older sister got out of the bed. I think when females do this it’s mothers instinct, either it lost a child, or it doesn’t have a mate and really wants a child. So much that it will approach a house at night and attempt to lure a child out to make it their own

My take with Sherry’s female at the window and how beautiful she was, is the description that Anthony gave about the one he was next to in the Kentucky Day Care episode. She was in the upper 6 foot rannge and and either 7 or 8 years old. I suspect Sherry’s Bigfoot was probably close to this age. My take is the Bigfoot just wanted her to come out and play. Perhaps she had no sibblings to play with. Surely she would not want to take Sherry back to her parents, that would definitely not want a human to be with them. Of course, I could be way off.

I don’t know where Sherrie is from but the Ringgold, Georgia area is a favorite spot of mine. I went to and looked at the Trail of Tears but we refused to walk it. It’s an incredibly sobering place to sit and ponder.

That area is beautiful isn’t it? I drove from the east coast of Virginia to Ringgold and I loved it! We drove down there to pick up a short-haired Snowshoe kitty. I ended up naming him Monkey..he steals my jewelry..like I take my rings off and place em on the table..I caught him many times trying to steal em lol. I made an AI of him..there he is.

Conner’s story seems full of inconsistencies and irrational behavior. You don’t need to put on clothes to drive a camper van out of an area where its being shaken, especially if you’re feeling immense dread. And then to leave the van to look for tracks. Just my opinion.

Wes, I was the one who sent Conner your email, I met him on the Bigfoot subreddit and he told this exact story, I could tell he was genuinely freaked out and was seeking answers. His story was intriguing to me because I grew up skiing in Mammoth, this is where Conner grew up. I also have fished all over the Eastern Sierras and could almost visualize his encounter. I’m glad you had him on the show, hopefully he’s on the mend!

    • Charles R

I too have skied Mamoth, although a long time ago, early 1984. Great ski hill and great beauty all around the Sierra’s. I quite sure Conner did have a Bigfoot rocking his van, something I have read and listened too a good many times. It is a good bet they just want you to leave. Maybe sometimes it is just a game they play.

Monday morning listener. Thanks, Wes. First speaker caused anxiety. Something trying to get a child to come outside. That’s scary. Second speaker, horrifying. Appreciate both for coming forward.

Hi nothing to do with this episode, but can anyone tell me why there’s no 1000th show? Do you have to pay an extra charge or something to listen to it. It’s very strange that there’s no explanation as to why or where it’s gone. Thanks everyone.

Seriously is this AI i’m not trolling i’m asking a genuine question, she’s lacking in any expression whatsoever. It just doesn’t seem genuine to me one little bit

That’s how I feel about the guys story. He sounds just like other “callers”. Same story, different area. His story sounds manufactured. Too many “ums” is a cover tactic while building your story.

Have there been any encounters where a Sasquatch enters someone’s home? It seems odd that they would stay behind a pain of glass and motion for a child to come out when it could easily just smash a window and take a child. Of all the encounters I’ve heard it seems like sasquatches don’t want to touch humans. I can’t remember who it was but someone on this podcast once shared a theory that it’s possible that Sasquatch was also affected by small pox and other diseases that were brought to North America from settlers. Maybe their population died back so much that they collectively know not to get to close to us. Are there any encounters where Sasquatch physical contact with a human? If so does none have the episode numbers?

    • Charles R

I put out that Small Pox theory 15 years ago, however I likey am not the first. Being that they get so close to humans property and such, and probably so close to us genitically, they could well have gotten the small pox during the Western Migrations. And experience a large die off. And thus the reason not so many stories of them in the late 1700s and 1800s. And now they have maybe become imune or more likely in the United States with vacinations, I still have the scare, we just do not spread small pox anymore. And population of them certainly seems like it is growing with the proleferation of reports taking place.

One that comes to mind is one of the more well known accounts on this podcast, a British woman who was visiting the states and had a pretty crazy encounter, very compelling account, you can search the site for the exact episode number but I believe it’s in the 500’s. Her voice is heard on the intro saying ‘there’s no way in this planet that they were bears’ or something like that.

But in her account she passed out and was bruised up from being dragged over some rocks by a male sasquatch. I think she was unconscious while it happened but she was dragged over rocks to a different position iirc so by necessity it touched her… Unless she had pants on and didn’t touch her skin? I’m sure there are other accounts of physical contact, but none spring to mind at the moment

      • Charlie H

Thanks Eric. I had somehow forgotten about that encounter. What a crazy account! But good point, she was most certainly touched if she was dragged. Another encounter that came to me last night was the one where a boy was stuck in a tree and yelling and a Sasquatch appeared and removed him from the spot he was stuck in.

It was bound to happen. With this endless stream of stories sooner or later one hits close to everyone’s home. Sherrie’s second account of the dread-stirring silence at the Thompson lakes by Marion Montana is from my neighborhood. That’s fine by me, as long as they don’t start peeking in my windows…

  10. Simon B

that’s a creepy story, it’s been well known for a long time even back through native history that they have a particular interest in young children or are often attracted to an area where children’s voices are carried. must have been terrifying for her.

  11. Ellie B

I read some comment(s) that thought Conner’s account was possibly not genuine, or some details didn’t jive– something to that effect. What?! Nobody in this world would make up an encounter like that.. and for nothing in return except potential ridicule. Welcome to the club of no return, Conner. We believe you. 💯
